Service description

SchoolDates is a subscription service that reads school-related emails from your Gmail account, extracts event information using AI, and creates events on your Google Calendar. The service runs automatically on a nightly basis.

Account and access

You must sign in with a Google account to use SchoolDates. By connecting your account, you grantSchoolDates read-only access to your Gmail and write access to your Google Calendar. You can revoke this access at any time by deleting your account.

Free trial and billing

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required for the trial. After the trial, a subscription of $4/month is required to continue using the service. You can cancel your subscription at any time, and syncs will continue until the end of your current billing period.

Service availability

We strive to keep SchoolDates available and reliable, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime. The service depends on third-party APIs (Google, Anthropic) which may experience outages outside our control.

Limitation of liability

SchoolDates is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for missed or incorrectly extracted events. Always verify important dates independently. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the preceding 12 months.

Data handling

We handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not store email content and encrypt all authentication tokens at rest.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
